Athletics

Each year pupils in Cloonanaha National School take part in a wide range of sporting activities. We participate in hurling and camogie competitions organised by Cumann na mBunscol an Chláir. Ronan Keane from the Clare County Hurling Development Board coaches the children in the fundamental skills of hurling. Furthermore, we are very fortunate to have coaches from Inagh/Kilnamona GAA club compliment this work further,

We also enter teams in the FAI Primary School’s Soccer Tournament and Clare Primary Schools Cross Country running.
